ABOUT

globalFEST seeks a part-time Program Manager to act as a critical support for all activities.  

The Program Manager for globalFEST will be responsible for continuing globalFEST’s growth and managing its programs as well as managing other hourly support as needed for social media, grant writing etc.

The Program Manager will report to the three artistic co-directors as well as the board. This position is forward facing and will be responsible for representing the vision of globalFEST’s directors to funders, the field, and the audience, while also executing this vision through daily activities.

ROLES & Responsibilities

Co-Producing

                 
  • Work with the team at LCPA to ensure two successful festivals annually, acting as key contact for artists and production manager.
  •              
  • Coordinate with artists selected by artistic co-directors
  •            

Management

                 
  • Manage key personnel and vendors including publicist, social media, graphic design and grant writing as needed.
  •              
  • Create and execute communication plan with three artistic directors that will ensure efficient information flow
  •            

Administrative/General

                 
  • Create and manage $200k+ annual budget with artistic directors
  •              
  • Manage finance, accounts payable and receivable via Quick Books
  •              
  • Provide regular reports to artistic directors and board
  •              
  • Oversee social media, e-blasts and public communication
  •              
  • Maintain a database of all alumni artists, managers, agents, labels etc.
  •              
  • Explore other earned revenue opportunities / business development
  •            

Fundraising

                 
  • Responsible for maintaining portfolio of funders and communications with those funders
  •              
  • Responsible for maintaining calendar of deadlines around grants
  •              
  • Act as public speaker on behalf of globalFEST as needed
  •              
  • Create and execute annual fundraising appeals through crowd funding sources
  •              
  • Responsible for grants administration
  •            

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

Requirements
                 
  • At least 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced, performing arts organization
  •              
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  •              
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, social media platforms, Dropbox and QuickBooks
  •              
  • Cultural competency and ability to work with people from around the world
  •              
  • Strong knowledge of budgets
  •              
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  •              
  • Ability to self-manage and maintain appropriate work from home equipment
  •            
                 

     

Compensation Details
  • Position starts Spring 2025
  •              
  • ·  $40/hour – approximately 20-25 hours per week
  •
